Classification Description

-The pre-treatment process sorts inflammable material (metal) in domestic wastes collected with fan and magnetic sorters, grinds it to certain size for smooth feeding and catalyst decomposition reaction in thermal decomposition process, and stores it in a material tank.

Catalyst decomposition

-Transferred from the material tank through screw feeder and bucket elevator to material supply hopper.

-Stored materials are transferred from the material supply hopper through the rated-supply screw feeder to catalyst decomposition reactor while the catalyst is transferred from a catalyst storage hopper through the screw feeder. In the catalyst decomposition reactor, materials are decomposed at 400 - 450℃ while decomposed gas is transferred through top piping of reactor to a distillation column.

-Solid residues are transferred from the catalyst decomposition reactor through bottom nozzles to a char cooling screw for sorting.


-The decomposed gas is divided into light and heavy oils in the distillation column.

-The gas is discharged from the top of distillation column, condensed through a condenser, and stored in an oil tank on top. It is transferred by a transfer pump to a light oil storage tank while some of stored light oil in top oil tank is refluxed to the top of distillation column.

-Heavy-oil gas from the middle of distillation column is condensed through the condenser, stored in a tank, and then transferred through the transfer pump to a heavy oil storage tank.

-Heavy residues that don’t evaporate in the distillation column return to the catalyst decomposition reactor.
